If you are like many professionals in the water industry, you attend a lot of events.  It’s the nature of our business in Canada that there are so many regulatory regimes and authorities – and therefore many information, education and experiential niches to be served.  The Canadian Water Summit, now in its 10th year, has always worked to bring those niches together and try to help break down any of the silos that are created – by inspiring collaboration and partnership.  The Summit series seeks participants who are looking to have open dialogue on all aspects of water across the entire landscape of water stakeholders, in every sector of the Canadian economy.

With partnerships a core mandate for the Canadian Water Summit, this year we are pleased to partner with the Canadian Water Resources Association (CWRA)  to give you two back-to-back events in the beautiful Blue Mountain Resort on the escarpment overlooking Georgian Bay.  “Water Week at Blue” is a collaboration of two of the nation’s premier water events and we’re excited about the variety of programming we will be offering in May 2019. The CWS Steering Committee is busy working on session and speaker ideas – if you have suggestions, please send me a note as we’ll be announcing the draft program in January.
