Project Manager, Infrastructure
Samantha Paquette is a Project Manager, for the Infrastructure Programming and Studies team at the Region of Peel. Samantha is a Landscape Architect who graduated from the University of Guelph with a Master of Landscape Architecture and B. Sc. in Environmental Biology. Samantha has ten years of experience in the environmental sector with expertise in green infrastructure, including low impact development.
At the Region of Peel, she works closely with internal and external groups to manage the implementation of green infrastructure to ensure that they are designed, constructed and maintained appropriately. She also manages the stormwater monitoring and environmental permits and approvals programs with a focus on species at risk.
Previously, she worked at Credit Valley Conservation where she was responsible for the development and implementation of programs and projects in integrated water management. She was responsible for leading the implementation of innovative solutions and technologies for improving environmental health, water balance and quality, flooding and erosion practices.
