Bu Lam is the Manager of Municipal Programs at Canadian Water Network and oversees the Canadian Municipal Water Consortium. The Consortium is comprised of utilities from across Canada who are looking to apply leading knowledge to support resilient and sustainable municipal water, wastewater and stormwater systems. Previously, Bu was the Director of Community Infrastructure in Nunavut, where he was responsible for capital planning for 24 of Nunavut’s 25 municipalities. He was appointed co-chair of the oversight committee for the implementation of federal infrastructure programs and served as the territorial representative on the CCME Municipal Wastewater Effluent coordinating committee. Bu holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Bishop’s University and a doctorate in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Toronto.
