We had an incredible time hosting Downstream in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University! This event brought together students, early-career professionals, and industry experts to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in the Canadian water sector.
Attendees connected with and learned from experts across various streams of the water sector—conservation, drinking water, the Great Lakes, community engagement, the federal role in water, and tech trends in trenchless solutions. Through six short roundtable discussions, participants made valuable industry connections.
Adding to the excitement, experts were fortunate to get a brief tour of TMU’s water laboratories, offering a glimpse into the cutting-edge research happening on campus.
There were smiles all around as professionals and newcomers shared insights and experiences, many using the opportunity to expand their networks. As the event came to a close, contact information was exchanged, and plans for future collaboration were sparked.
